Additionally. the new store will be located at 6765 22nd Avenue North. And is adjacent to Tyrone Square Mall in a shopping center shared by other popular retailers.

Although a public relations firm hired by Aldi confirmed the company’s plans for a St Petersburg location, they did not confirm the location. But a leasing brochure from Seritage Growth Properties, which owns the shopping center, includes the New Aldi Tyrone Mall location making it likely that it will be located at Tyrone Square Mall.

The opening of the New Aldi store comes at a time when St. Petersburg is experiencing growth in its western neighborhoods. In fact, Porter Development recently announced plans for a 1,058-unit multifamily development. Moreover, it is just half a mile from the future New Aldi location, with 30% of the residential units set aside as income-restricted workforce housing.

The opening of Aldi will mark the third location of the chain in the city. Furthermore. the other two existing locations are at 2900 34th Street South in the Skyway Marina District and at 1551 34th Street North in North Kenwood.
