Rob’s Favorite Christmas Displays in Tampa Bay is a list of my TOP 3 Christmas things to see in Tampa Bay.  The Christmas season is my favorite time of the year.  I have already been to each of these displays this year and going back a few more times.  And I joined number 3 and will be singing in the performances starting Thursday, Dec. 9th.  So here are my favorite things to see during Christmas all across the bay area.

1.  Chick-fil-a at 6299 Waters Ave., Tampa, FL 33634

First, Aunt Pam and I stumbled on this Christmas gem a few weeks ago on our way to choir practice.  When driving by, we were both in unison saying…”That looks like the Osborne Family Christmas lights that were displayed at Hollywood Studios back in the day.  We pulled into the parking lot, rolled down the windows and the Christmas music began blaring into the Lexus.  We were amazed at the light show that was choreographed to the music.  Everyone needs to see this Favorite Christmas Displays number 1…and it’s free!  Now Pam and I stop by to get an ice dream cup with chocolate on our way home from every choir practice.  This is our number 1 display because it is fabulous and free.  Here are some pictures:

2.  Busch Gardens Christmas Town

Second, another favorite Christmas display in Tampa Bay is at Busch Gardens.  There are millions of lights all over the park.  My favorite is the light tunnel towards the rear of the park that is a light show to music.  It’s spectacular!  Go to the north pole to visit Santa, and see Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer!  Furthermore, I love the ice skating Christmas show so make plans to see it too.  And be sure to stop by the Christmas Store near the front of the park.  You will find some of the best “Rudolf” shirts I have ever seen.  There are ornaments, Christmas decorations for sale, and I bought a set of leather strap jingle bells to use when I go Christmas caroling on Christmas Eve.  Additionally, I ride my favorite roller coaster in the world, Cheetah Hunt, 10 times before I head home.

3.  The Spectacular Idlewild Christmas Production is another one of our Favorite Christmas Displays

Thirdly, every year the huge choir, orchestra and cast of Idlewild Church performs the largest Christmas show in all of Tampa Bay.  Professional Broadway sets, costumes and lighting set the stage for this amazing show.  Moreover, this choir always performs a big epic operatic song that will make your heart jump.  I make this a priority every Christmas because it’s always a huge blessing.  Additionally, this year program is set in the early 1900s and the title is “Delivering Christmas.”  For tickets, click here!

Idlewild's Christmas Presentation is the biggest Christmas Show in Tampa Bay

The Christmas show at Idlewild is a favorite event of the community.
