St Petersburg Sundial Redevelopment is set to undergo a major renovation.  The wonderful changes will bring a modern and dynamic feel to this classic shopping destination. The new design will include a complete overhaul of the interior and exterior.  Moreover,  the addition of new storefronts, updated amenities, and a more warm minimalist design will bring an open and airy layout. The mall’s rooftop will also be transformed into a multi-use space with a lounge area.  There will also be dining options, and scenic views of the city.

The mall will also incorporate new technologies, such as augmented and virtual reality, and the use of artificial intelligence.  This will personalize the shopping experience for each individual visitor. The mall will also feature a state-of-the-art security system and improved accessibility for those with disabilities.

The St Petersburg Sundial Redevelopment will offer a mix of local and national retail and dining options.  This ensures that there is something for everyone. This includes popular fashion brands, unique boutiques, and a diverse range of dining options, from fast food to upscale restaurants. The mall will also host a variety of events and activities throughout the year.

The St Petersburg Sundial Redevelopment is a joint project between Ally Capital and Paradise Ventures, who purchased the property in early 2022. The team plans to make a multimillion-dollar investment in revitalizing not only the outdoor space but also the retail spaces. Engineering work is under way, and infrastructure work will begin this spring.

One of the most notable changes to the Sundial mall is the removal of the massive sundial statue that has welcomed visitors for years. Replacing it with an outdoor bar and “cafe-style” seating areas, including a long community table and several patio tables with umbrellas. Renderings also show added green space and new retail and dining options, including a fitness center and a restaurant/market.

There has been speculation about which businesses will be retaining their location and which new businesses will be coming in. One of the rumored new businesses is the popular Hyde Park restaurant Forbici, which is reportedly eyeing a location in St. Petersburg.
