St Petersburg Top Florida City is now the number one city in the state.  Additionally it is number 18 in the nation for work-life balance and mental health.  This is according to a study by Coworking Café. The study considered a wide range of factors.  These factors include green space, air quality, work hours, income, affordability, remote working prevalence, commute times, and health insurance coverage. The study finds that coastal and southern cities in general were ranked lower, but St. Petersburg was one of the few cities that saw an improvement in its ranking.

St Petersburg Top Florida City strong points include its celebrated parks system, walkability, and award-winning waterfront.  In addition are the beaches.  These contribute to making it a happier and healthier place to live. The study used four primary categories to assess the final rankings.  Four things including mental health (40% weight), affordability (30%), remote work (20%), and commute (10%). St. Petersburg received a mental health score of 62, affordability score of 64, remote work score of 77, and a commute score of 59, giving it an overall score of 65.3.

Minneapolis, Minnesota is the top city on the list.   It has an overall score of 84.9.  Additionally the closest Florida city to St. Petersburg is Jacksonville, which is 25th with a score of 61.1. Tampa, located near St. Petersburg, is 53rd with a score of 49.8.
